David is the founder and CEO of 3CG Ventures. An award winning attorney and executive, he advises and coaches leaders navigating complex challenges, consequential decisions and periods of significant change.
Most recently, he led the NFL Players Association through a leadership crisis, stabilizing operations and helping its board chart a path forward. Earlier, he guided the Screen Actors Guild through its historic merger with AFTRA — aligning the senior team, integrating 25 offices, and unifying two distinct cultures. At the close of his tenure, SAG-AFTRA was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Film and Television Companies.
He has served as Board Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and as a board leader across corporate, nonprofit, and venture capital organizations nationwide.
A Rhodes Scholar, Truman Scholar and Stanford Law graduate, David speaks and writes on transformative leadership, sports and entertainment, and practical AI for skeptical professionals.
